| We believe that your child's teeth need special attention at a young age. It is never too early to bring your child to our office. Around the age of two years old is a perfect time to get your child acclimated to our dental environment. This way we are able to educate you and monitor their quickly changing mouth together.
You are the best examples that we have to show your children the proper care for their teeth and gums. When your child is at a young age, use a cotton swab and water to clean the teeth of any plaque. As they grow older, encourage the practice of tooth brushing and even flossing. Dentistry has come a long way from when you were a child. With the introduction of fluoride to our drinking water and the technology of sealants to help combat tooth decay, children have a greater chance of having healthy teeth and gums. However, we must still make sure that proper oral health care is in the lives of our children. Here are some helpful hints to help you understand your child's teeth and gums. |
