Stages of Periodontal Disease
  1. Gingavitis: the most common and mildest form causes your gums to become red, swell, and bleed easily. (figure 1)
  2. Mild Periodontitis: In this stage, the disease begins to breakdown the bone and tissue supporting the teeth. (figure 2)
  3. Advanced Periodontitis: the bone structure becomes very weak at this stage. Teeth often become loose and may even have to be removed. (figure 3)
